Tulip planting

In honour of Wkip and International Yarn bombing day we knitted tulips and planted them on the Lange Voorhout in Den Haag.
We had about 40 tulips planted in the sunlight, they were beautiful!
And low and behold as we stood and watch people started to come up and see what we were doing, asking questions and taking the tulips away - it was a wonderful feeling, seeing that people had appreciated our work and that we had made others smile!
A lady took away a tulip to give to her daughter that was at home studying - exactly what we wanted to happen! i know it made all of us feel warm inside
So a big thank you to everybody who made tulips and helped us planted them.
